Truest words ever put on paper. Morgan Renee Patten is the complete package of her parents Steve and Renee. My regret is I never got to know her personally as this young woman.
Life pulls us in all different directions and we get caught up in it. We see friends here and there, say “Hi” chat a bit and then off we go back to our lives. People need to be more present, stop rushing through life always busy…. Stop! Embrace what you have and the people you have around you and reach out to those you’ve lost touch with and catch up.
I can say that as of today, Morgan has brought so many people together, Morgan has brought complete strangers into my life and for that, thank you will never be enough. We are family! We stand with you,Steve and Renee as you fight to get justice for Morgan ‘s death, we will not stop until that happens we will never stop! These are my truest words! We love you❤️

I just read this out loud to Maria and we both have tears in our eyes. What a remarkable and powerful piece of writing, and a testament to not just her, but you and Steve. I really don't have the words to share what it is I truly feel, but I at least wanted to let you know that this has really touched us and makes me feel even closer to this wonderful young woman. We'll never stop supporting you both.
